Shirley was born on July 18, 1935 in Mikado, Michigan to the late William and Mattie "Marie" Lindzy. She married Kenneth H. Riepen on January 20, 1951 in White Lake, Michigan. Shirley worked for High Mill Manufacturing and Mac Valve Manufacturing as a machine operator. She enjoyed bowling and golf.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth; adored mother of Kendra (Vern) Pappas, Kathrine (Richard) Baker, Kenneth (Peggy) Riepen, Jr., Keenan Riepen, Walter (Jane) Riepen, Deborah (John) Stamper, and Kristina Luck; proud grandma of 16, great-grandma of 25, and great-great grandma of four and one on the way; dear sister of Ellen Shelton. Shirley was preceded in death by her brother, William; sister, Beulah Oxford; and beloved granddaughter, Ronna Baker.
A Celebration of Shirley's life will be held in July 2022. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
