Susan E. Mills

Susan E. Mills, age 64 of Grand Blanc, passed away on Wednesday, September. She was born on March 5, 1952 in Flint to parents Glenn and Mildred (Adams) Sommers. After retiring from GM Susan was able to spend more time doing her life’s passion in working with Young Life, a non-profit, non-denominational organization that gives hope to kids for the future. Susan touched many lives of young children. Susan is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jimmy Mills; children: Jon Mills, and Jourdan Mills; siblings: David (Edith) Sommers, and Mark (Kathlyne) Sommers. She was preceded in death by both parents. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Flint Central Church of the Nazarene (1261 W. Bristol Rd., Flint). Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Brown Funeral Home (1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc). In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make a memorial contribution to Young Life of Genesee County.
