Susan, also known as Sue, was a dedicated Manager at Great Lakes ACE Hardware. She graduated from Lakeland High School and earned a BA in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.
In her free time, Sue enjoyed attending Arts and Crafts Shows, spending quality time with her family, and working in the garden with her mother, sparing her siblings from mulching and weeding. Growing up in White Lake, MI, Sue enjoyed Snow Skiing, Water Skiing and especially floating on a raft around Lake Neva. Later in life Sue enjoyed visiting her family in Florida, she loved Dolphins and always kept watch on the water to catch a glimpse of them. If there was a pool Sue was near it. Shark Week on the Discovery Channel was can’t miss TV! Sue was a kind-hearted individual who always put others before herself.
Sue is survived by her mother, Pat; her siblings, Brian (Dannita), Ann Marie (Eric), and Doug, her nieces and nephews, Jason (Carrie), Nick (Ashley), Sara (Colt), Holly, and Greg; as well as her great nieces and nephews, Peyton, Addisen, Alina, Raylan, Owen, Kennedy, Everly and Bill’s daughter Sam. Sue was preceded in death by her father, Daniel and companion Bill Atkinson.
A memorial visitation for Susan will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. A memorial service will occur Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St Mark Catholic Church, 7296 Gale Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan.
