

Sue had a career as a Church Secretary and later on as a Bookkeeper. Sue and Alvy, her husband, both had a passion for bowling most of their adult lives. They would take annual trips to the American Bowling Congress (ABC) national tournament all over the U.S. This also included years acting as league secretaries for multiple bowling leagues operating from several different bowling alleys in the Flint area. They also were participating members of the Flint 700 Club.
Sue played piano in her youth and was involved in her church choir when younger. She truly had a beautiful singing voice. She loved needlework, crossword puzzles, wildflowers, roses, and dogs. Sue was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by, her son: Steve Thomason and his daughter Kirsti Thomason, Son-in-law: Frank Long, his daughter: Amanda Long and his son Christopher Long. Christopher's wife Meranda, and great grandchildren Jaxtyn, Gemma and Adriana Long. She is preceded in death by her parents; Gerald and Suzanna (Nijs) Marcoux, her beloved husband AlvyThomason and her daughter Debra Long.
A memorial visitation for Susanna will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. A memorial service will occur at 12:00 PM, following the memorial visitation. Burial at Flint Memorial Park, 9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, Michigan 48458.
