Vondrasek, Terry Lynn (Vinton) - of Otisville, MI, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Terry’s last wishes were respectfully granted, as such, she will be cremated and without a memorial service.
Terry came into this world on November 27, 1955, in Flint, MI. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Patricia (Ward) Vinton. She graduated from Kearsley High School in 1973 and continued her education over the years by attending classes at Mott Community College. Education was always important to her and she instilled that in her sons and grandchildren. She married James Vondrasek on October 1, 1981.
Terry had many passions in life and her capacity for them seemed endless. She enjoyed gardening (flower/vegetable); tending to her livestock (chickens/ducks/dogs/cats/most importantly her Morgan horses); maintaining the farm on which she built and loved; talking current events and politics; as well as giving time/help to others with their carpentry/construction projects or current needs in which they were laboring. She had strong ambitions; a can-do attitude; a tough work ethic; and even tougher opinions (traits in which she both inherited and passed onto her immediate family). Most importantly she had endless love for her family.
In regards to careers, she and her husband were small business owners, art galleries/custom picture framing, for many years. Additionally she held positions at Flint Osteopathic Hospital (FOH) and George P Johnson (GPJ) Corporation.
Terry is survived by her husband of 40 years, James Vondrasek; children Joshua (Maria) Freeman, and Nathaniel Vondrasek; grandchildren Jordan McNaughton, Grace Freeman, Emma Freeman and Aiden Freeman; brothers David (Theresa) Vinton and Kurt (Jackie) Vinton; and many nieces and nephews.
