KNAPP, THELMA age 93, died Friday, January 11, 2013 at the McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd, Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor David Miller officiated. Interment followed at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Thelma was born in Flint, MI, April 12, 1919 to parents Charles and Garnet (McDonald) Smith. She was a long time member of Westwood Baptist Church and Bible Baptist Church. She was well known for her interior decorating business. She also worked many years for the Flint Schools as a cook. Surviving are son Marvin (Martha) Knapp; sister June Beek; grandchildren Joseph (Carrie) Knapp, Amy Hawkins, Jason (Pilar) Knapp; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Gerald and her son Robert.
