

LYNCH, Thelma Forestine (Zoppelli) – age 91 of Dexter, MI departed this earthly world on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, to live in her heavenly home. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 4PM-8PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 1PM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial immediately following at Flint Memorial Park. Thelma was born April 2, 1924 in Chappell, NE to the late Adolph and Sadie (Lindgren) Zoppelli. She dedicated her life to her husband Jeff “J.D.” Lynch, family and community. Thelma’s life demonstrated the very character of Jesus in her daily service, which touched the lives of those she knew and taught. She taught at Barhitte Elementary School in the Bentley school system for 18 years. She touched many lives with her loving kindness. Her love and commitment to the Kingdom of God has affected many lives. One of Thelma’s favorite songs, “It is Well With My Soul” is a testimony to her dedication to Jesus Christ. Joyful memories of Thelma Lynch are evident in the smiles of her children and their spouses, Michael (Jane) Lynch, Linda (Tom) Jarman, Jim (Kim) Lynch, and Julie (Larry) Castle; grandchildren, Monica (Pedro)Teves, Lindsay and Chloe Lynch, Nick and Eric Jarman, Kristin (Chuck) Lawrence, Scott, Zach, and Dan (Alyssa) Lynch, Sarah, Stuart, William and Angela Castle; 6 great-grandchilden, and a host of special relatives, all whom loved her and will miss her.
