In 1986, she married W. Vincent Lootens and relocated to the Flint area.
She was a natural caregiver and had various positions as a CNA and activities assistant. She loved caring for others, making people smile, and became close with many of her patients. In her late 50's, she returned to college and immediately made many new friends. She took great pride in this and enjoyed her studies toward being a medical assistant.
Theodora also loved crafting and enjoyed making handmade items for friends and family. Everyone who knew her knew she had a passion for decorating at Christmas and bringing the cheer of the holiday season.
She loved family events, growing up with all of her cousins, and getting together with friends. She just enjoyed people and would shower anyone accepting with her love and kindness. The minute you met Terry or "Teddy", you became friends and were instantly in line for her famous hugs.
