Laverne and family, I'm sorry for your loss of Tom. Mom just let me know when I called her. I remember you both from long ago. Sending hugs and prayers for comfort from Arizona. Take care...

Though I did not know Thomas personally, I know his daughter and grandchildren. At one of the most challenging times of my life she was a support and a friend. He must have been a wonderful man and father to raise such a wonderful human being.

My sincerest condolences to you Pat and your mother as well all remaining family. I first met Attorney Mccombs at the age of 15yrs old I'm 50yrs old now and proud. Attorney Mccombs was my grandmother's Attorney and eventually became everyone's in the family's attorney. Thom was certainly more than an attorney to us yet but a trusted confidant and friend. Full of fire and great memories I'm sure him and my grandmother have lots to talk about in heaven. On behalf of the Collins,Connor, and Jackson family thank you for sharing such a special angel with us.

Tom was a great attorney -
and counselor -
and a better friend.

As he himself may have said
(had he only been made aware - my bad!),
He was a sine qua non to my
own “life’s good fortune” — indeed,
to my own survival - so far - on this planet.

Peace, and Strength, to the
whole McCombs Family

This man was like my second father to me for over 20 years...I worked with him for years at 444 Church Street. I'm sick it was over a year since I had seen him last due to me moving out of state. I missed him so much and was planning on going up to the office to deliver some stinky cheese he loved so much. Now I'll have to miss him forever until we meet again. I hope you are golfing in Heaven Tom!

Dear Patrick and family,
Your father was not only my lawyer for nearly 25 years, Tom was a friend. Tom represented and was a legal mentor to most of my family regarding matters.
I hope he was able to see the Great Barrier Reef. He spoke of it once. I will always be grateful for having known Mr. McCombs. His influence on me was wonderful. Tom always encouraged me regarding my music.
He toughened me up in a good way.
My deepest condolences and heart felt sympathy to the Thomas McCombs family. I'm am grieving with you. My brother Darren sends his condolences also. Gods peace to you Patrick and family.
