Wallace Theodore Duford

DUFORD, Wallace Theodore (Wally) – formerly of Flushing, age 90, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Lansing, Michigan. Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan with Mr. Leonard Meizlish officiating. Burial follows at Flint Memorial Park (Beth El Section). Mr. Duford was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 26, 1927. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Military and was a retired employee of General Motors. He had been a member of Temple Beth El and had also been active in the Lion’s Club. Surviving are: sons, Alan Steigelman of Quincy, Illinois, Mark Duford of Grand Junction, Colorado and Mike Duford of Brunswick, Georgia; daughter, Margo Banks of Harrison, Michigan; step-son, Larry (Sheryl) Hanthorn of Pella, Iowa; step-daughter, Judy Hanthorn of East Lansing, Michigan and other relatives. Mr. Duford was preceded in death by his first wife, Myrna; wife, Ruth Duford; and son, Wally Duford, Jr. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.brownfh.com
