

Wanda cherished her family, and thoroughly enjoyed family and friend gatherings. She loved hearing her loved ones talk and laugh. She also liked traveling with her friends. She loved to get in the car and just drive, and would often do that with her sister. Wanda had a passion for traveling, especially with her late husband, Ned, to Fort Myers, Florida. Her favorite trips included Lake Tahoe and Hawaii. Wanda also enjoyed music, musicals, and older movies.
She was actively involved in her community through participation in the Bobby Crim races and was a dedicated member of the Lioness Club, while working at the AT&T. Wanda found joy in buying Christmas gifts for the children in the Angel Tree program.
Wanda Lee Geeting will be remembered with love and respect by all who knew her.
Wanda leaves to cherish her memory her children Michele (Tim) Peters and Matthew Geeting; siblings Joan (Ron) Salerno, Will (Jane) Norman and Bill (Judy) Norman; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Ned Geeting, son Michael Geeting, her parents Hubert and Bessie Norman, her mother and father-in-law, and cousin Terry Byrd.
The funeral service for Wanda will take place at Hill Funeral Home - 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan, on January 14, 2026, at 12:00 pm with a visitation beginning at 10:00am. Following the funeral service, Wanda will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Dementia Society of America, The Michael J. Fox Foundation or St. Jude Children's Hospital in Wanda's memory.
