FURDEN, William J. – Age 84, of Grand Blanc, died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at his home. Mr. Furden was born December 30, 1928 in Flint the son of the late Joseph and Harvetta (Byers) Furden. William served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed woodworking, stained glass, hunting, fishing and camping. For many years Mr. Furden operated Furden’s TV Sales and Service in Grand Blanc. Surviving are his sons, Mark A. (Arlene) Furden, Joseph (Dee Dee) Furden, daughters, Suzanne (Dale) Aidif, Gina (Timothy) Hommer, Tina (Michael) Throop; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Furden was preceded in death by his wife, Joyceann Furden, son, William D. Furden, great grandson, Wyatt Bowers, special friend, Marilyn Pyne and his brothers and one sister. A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Hill Funeral Home with visitation from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m
