

Bill moved to the east side of Flint as a little boy. He held a few different jobs as a young man after a short time in the army. He was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, playing cards, pool, Yahtzee, and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed weekly Bible study with friend Ashley. Bill had a heart of gold. He liked to help those in need. He had a great sense of humor. He was funny, loved to watch movies, Elvis, and John Wayne. He attended the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses on Lapeer Road. He was a lifelong Detroit Lions fan.
Bill leaves to cherish his memory his four children William "Gary" Manley, Starla Manley (Dean), Julie Morin, Mickey (Michelle) Morin; fifteen grandchildren Vincent, Amber, Michelle, Breana, Justice, Alona, Braylie, Zayden, Kyle, Alainah, Malia, Nick, Caiden, Amaya, Ayla, and Avery; eight great-grandchildren Trevor, Aurora, Emiliano, Carson, and Brock; and nieces, nephews, friends, and best friend Kim.
Bill was preceded in death by son Charles Manley, mother Clara, father Alonzo Manley, brother Dickerson Manley, sister Bertha (Peggy) Miracle, grandson Kyle Dean, and ex-wife and in-laws Barbara Sherwood, Ruby, and Leo Sherwood.
A funeral visitation will be held on November 9, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at Hill Funeral Home, located at 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan, 48439. The funeral service will follow at the same location, starting at 1:30 pm.
Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Holly, MI, on November 9, 2025, at 3:30 pm.
