MEDLING, WILLIAM JOE age 79, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Mr. Medling was born December 19, 1935, in Stonewall, Arkansas. He moved to Flint in 1954 and worked for General Motors. He married Florence Ann Kline in 1956. They celebrated 57 years of marriage. Surviving are his wife, his sister Pearl Ellis, brother JW Medling, his sons Doug and Michael, his daughter Robin, his grandchildren William, Dawn, Amanda, Steven, Michael, and Tayler, and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Medling of Flint, whom passed last January. Visitation will be held at the East Flint Church of the Nazarene, 3515 North Belsay Road in Flint on Monday, January 13 from 10-11 A.M with the memorial service starting at 11 A.M.
