Linda (Yolinda K) Pierce, born September 4, 1965, grew up in Pemberville, Ohio with family and many friends. She graduated from Eastwood High School and received a bachelor's degree in Radio, Television, and Film from Bowling Green State University. Linda loved music and enjoyed sharing her passion with people. She was a recording and live sound engineer and DJ'd many private parties and women's events in Flint, Lansing, and Ann Arbor. Linda was an on-air personality at WBCO/WQEL in Bucyrus, Ohio and Wings 103 in Lapeer. She was also the Program Director and morning drive DJ at WOAP in Owosso. Linda was a long-time employee at Border's Books and Music, where she loved helping someone find that special book or new recording artist. Linda was employed at Kettering University as the Library Administrator, which was her dream job, and especially loved and enjoyed the people she worked with. Lin's biggest joys were spending time with her chosen family of relatives and friends, including the four-legged ones. Linda and Dee loved to travel and find new food adventures along the way. Linda is survived by her loving wife, Dee Johnson; brother, Greg (Julia) Pierce; nieces: Liz and Anna; life-long friend, Ina Terry; and special friend, Sue Meister. She is preceded in death by her parents: Arnold and Ardella; her Aunt Mary; and her cousin Elizabeth. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 5pm-8pm at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S Saginaw St, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439.
