Adabell Lindquist Mampel passed away October 21, 2016 at the Courtyard Care Center in Fruita, Colorado, she was 92.
Adabell was born on April 16, 1924 in Canon City, Colorado from the union of Harvey and Laura Fowler. She spent her childhood and attended High School in the Buena Vista area. She moved to Palisade in 1964 and later to Grand Junction.
Adabell was a homemaker and her family was her main focus in life. She enjoyed Pinochle Club, gardening, sewing and was a former member of TOPS Club and Singles.
She married Charles G. Lindquist in Buena Vista in 1948; he preceded her in death in Grand Junction in 1979. On September 28, 1991 Adabell married Robert C. Mampel in Grand Junction; he preceded her in death on March 10, 2010.
Adabell leaves behind a son; Charles G. Lindquist Jr. of Denver, Colorado, two daughters; Laura L. (Gene) Wood of Denver, Colorado and Merrie (Jared) Barley of Clifton, Colorado, a brother; Don Fowler of Pueblo, Colorado, four grandchildren; Michael Wood, Tamara Wood, Megan Kemmis and Cody Barley and two great-grandchildren; Michael Kemmis and Dakota Wood.
Adabell was preceded in death by her husbands, a daughter Sandra May and a son Roger Lindquist.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Martin Mortuary and a visitation time from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Tuesday.
