Barbara was born in Craig, Colorado and was happily married to Walt Ducey for 72 years and was a member of the Christian Church since 1959. She was preceded in death by parents Elvin Dutch and Winnie Estey and one brother Bob Estey. She enjoyed living in a Chevron camp house in the middle of the Rangely Oil Field for 27 years. There she raised three children. Debra Lancaster (Mike), Alan (Crystal), and Russ (Liz). She had twelve grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She loved them and was proud of them all. She did embroidery work and gave all of her grandchildren beautiful blankets. She always had to have a puppy and one time had a Doberman, Jodi that followed her everywhere - night and day she was on guard. Barbara loved living on the White River and operating Ducey's White River Resort for over 26 years. Barbara enjoyed watching some of her grandchildren learn to fish the White River – thanks to grandson Bryce Ducey. She spent the winter months in Lake Havasu, Arizona. She was a tough but gracious lady to family and friends. Barbara will be deeply missed by her loved ones.
