

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, with innurnment at 3 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Survivors include one son, Wes; one daughter, Brenda Watson; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Bea D'Aponti
January 20, 1933 - August 16, 2014
Beatrice D'Aponti passed away of natural causes at the HopeWest Care Center of Grand Junction. She was 81.
Beatrice was born Beatrice Duran in Trinidad, CO. The third daughter of Edward and Filomena Duran, Bea was raised on a family ranch near Trinidad. She attended Business College at both Denver University and Stanford University.
She and Sam were married on December 28, 1952. They lived in Denver, where Bea worked as an insurance underwriter and maintained a household with little children. They moved their cattle operation to Delta, Colorado in 1975. She raised and showed registered Murray Grey Cattle. In Delta, Bea worked for Virginia Neal Blue Resource Center as a job development specialist. She was a member of the Delta Cowbells and Delta Altrusa Society. She was a Eucharistic Minister in the Catholic Church. She shared a love of travel with her husband, Sam, and they traveled extensively to all corners of the world.
Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel. She is survived by her children, Wes (Mailyn) D'Aponti and Brenda (Dwain) Watson; grandchildren, Chad (Ferra) D'Aponti, Jaime (Randy) Craig, Kirt D'Aponti, and Adrianna Price; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Ashton, and Kariss, and her beloved Chihuahua, Bruno.
Services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 790 26 1/2 Rd., Grand Junction, CO on August 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Internment of Sam and Bea will take place at the Western Slope Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, CO at 3:00 p.m.
