Brian Lee Onsrud

Brian is survived by his loving children, Jalen Sierra Wilcox, Hunter Steven Onsrud, and Conner Allen Onsrud. He is also survived by his sister, Cheryl Rogers, father, Gerald Onsrud, and step-mother, Joan Onsrud and his nieces and nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Onsrud, and his brother, Steven Allen Onsrud.

Brian graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1990 and attended college at Mesa State College. Following college, he served in the Navy from December 18, 1990, to December 17, 1992, where he proudly served his country receiving a National Defense Service Metal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, and a Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Star.

After his military service, Brian pursued a career in the automotive industry, working in sales. He was known for his exceptional skills and dedication to his profession.

Outside of work, Brian enjoyed spending his free time fishing and hunting. These hobbies brought him much joy and allowed him to connect with nature.

A private Military Honors Service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, at 1pm at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado to honor Brian's life and service. A public Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 16, from 3-6pm at the Ale House, 2531 N 12th Street in Grand Junction, CO.
