She was a computer programmer.
Survivors include two sons, Guy Brendan Kayne of Denver, and Jonathan R. Boden of Aurora; one daughter, Ashleigh L’orange of Fort Collins; her mother, Barbara H. Hannah of Grand Junction; and one brother, Karleton G. Short of Kodiak, Alaska.

Charlene (Short) Hannah was born January 21, 1957, in Spokane Washington to Gene Wilber Short and Barbara (Hopfinger) Short. Charlene spent most of her life in Colorado, graduating from Coronado High School in Colorado Springs. She received a BS degree in accounting from Colorado State University and a BS degree in Computer Science from Metro State University. She had a successful career as an accountant and as a computer programmer, the last 23 years of her life working as a programmer at Remote Processing located in Denver.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Hannah; sons Guy Brendan Kayne and Jonathon R. Boden; and daughter Ashleigh Kayne L’Orange (Chirstian); her brother Karleton Short (Shirley).
She is preceded in death by her father Gene W. Short.
