Irene (Chor Wan) Glover
October 15, 1959 - March 23, 2016
Irene (Chor Wan) Glover passed on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital with her family by her side. She was born October 15, 1959, in Hong Kong, the fourth oldest out of eight children.
She possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. She won the trust and hearts of many through her captivating energy and ""sweet n' sassy"" demeanor. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around will never be forgotten. With a strong passion for life, she loved traveling, reading, boating, being outdoors, gifting, cooking for anyone and everyone; but most of all, surrounding herself with her friends and family.
Irene met her husband, Tim, in Hong Kong while he was stationed there as Marine on Embassy Duty. They were married May 1, 1979, and were married for 36 years. Residing in Gunnison, CO, Tim and Irene raised their three children, Felecia, Katrina, and Daren. Her entire life revolved around her children , and especially her grandchildren. There was no greater love than the love she had for her grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Tim, residing in Grand Junction, CO; and by three brothers and three sisters that all reside in Hong Kong. Her legacy carries on through her daughters, Felecia and Katrina, and her son, Daren. She is also survived by her greatest joys, her four granddaughters, Aryahna, Abrielle, Andelyn, and Claire; her son-in-law, Ray and daughter-in-law, Amanda, whom she loved dearly.
A ceremony to celebrate all the light and joy Irene brought forth, will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Noon, followed by a private celebration for family at her final resting place.
