Hello Grandpa, 
  I miss you so much! I wish we had more time with you here with us. I know everything happens for a reason and I don’t know that I will ever understand this happening. I know you are with our Father, I have no doubt about that. I have comfort knowing that you are no longer in pain and you can breathe again. I will miss your arms around me, your kiss on my cheek, my hand in yours, rubbing your soft head, your words of wisdom, you calling me jita ( you were the only one), you coming over to my house, me seeing you in your chair at yours, you helping me understand the Bible, your smile, you joking around with me, and everything about you. Grandpa, I always went to you for prayer request so I’m coming to you now, will you pray for strength for me? I’m really having a hard time right now. It’s still hard for me to believe your body is no longer here. Please pray for Grandma that she too has strength, we especially need her. Please pray for my Mom as she needs strength too. 
Oh Grandpa, your services were beautiful and so many people came. Today is yours and Grandmas 65th anniversary! Happy Anniversary! Grandpa, I want you to know that we will be here to help Grandma with whatever she may need. You two have created a beautiful family and I’m so honored to be a part of it. I love you sooooo much!

I will miss the advice of my cousin and all that Chris told me about our daddy Gilbert when he was little. I believe God the father will give you all a foundation of faith in the days to come. Primo Chris, thank u for being there when our parents, Gilbert and Sally Atencio , had a special occasion,   you and Prima Sandra were always there, and your beautiful family.  I never saw u much, and I'm sorry for that, but u will b missed. Give my love to the Family,  and may u all b blessed with Happy  memories of Primo Chris. Love u Sandra, and your family. On this day, I took gramps up Lands End Road and he showed me where the spring was and we both enjoyed some nice fresh cold water. We often took drives to the Grand Mesa. He sure loved talking to me about our Lord and I loved doing so just the same. I love you my precious gramps and I will think of you always. Thank you for the memories. 

Chris, I know your in a better place and someday we shall all be together again.  
I will always remember your bright smile and eyes, they lit up a room! you always made me smile and laugh.  
I remember when we went to your house it meant we were having fun. It is a most cherished memory.  You and Sandra were always nice and caring, made everyone feel " at home" , it was a place we could be ourselves.
You will be missed.

I was very saddened to hear of Bro. Chris’s passing.  He was a wonderful person.  I spent time with Chris and Sandra when I lived in Colorado.  We were even neighbors for awhile at a duplex in Fruita.  Chris always had his Bible out, ready to talk to anyone willing to listen.  I was always welcomed into their home wherever they were.  Back in the day when you’d just drop in on people!  If you knew them you were blessed!  I remember he invented a wallet!  And if you visited them you got their homemade salsa!  Too bad there was no Shark Tank back then!   
I pray all of the family and friends are comforted with God’s peace and your sorrow becomes joy as you treasure your memories.  💓

It's one of my favorite photos of me and my dad. I miss him so much. He was a great dad. This was one of his days after work. I was always happy to see him. I love you sooooo much, Dad. Rest in peace, and I will see you again. 

I love when my brother John  and I were little we would sit in the kitchen at a kids table and grandpa would tear out the cartoons of the news paper and we would sit and read them and eat breakfast. He taught us about the Lord. And I'm thankful to be his and grandma garcias grandson. I remember going to the fishing derby with him at Gene Taylor's I have alot of memories with grandma and grandpa. I will miss you grandpa I love you

I didn’t know grandpa too well but I knew that he had a good heart and loved me as much as I loved him!!!

I loved my Dad’s personality he was funny, intelligent, creative, strong, loving and he had no problem walking up to a stranger and telling them about God. I will miss you greatly Dad I will miss your prayers at the dinner table even tho they were long and the food was getting cold but I know much you had to be thankful for and how much you loved talking to God. I know you are with God now and having the best conversation with him now. Miss you Dad!

Grandpa knew the Word very well, and I learned many things from him, you will be greatly missed. I love you Grandpa ❤️❤️❤️. I took this picture of him at his home last year.
