Connie grew up on a ranch in the San Luis Valley where she loved helping tend and care for horses, cattle, and sheep. She graduated from Colorado State College and while attending, became engaged to her husband, Roger. After getting married, Roger’s military service in the Army took them to Anchorage, Alaska. Following his service to our country, civilian life led them to several cities across the Southwestern United States and finally Grand Junction. Connie developed a passion for home design and gardening, creating beautiful homes and flower-filled gardens wherever she lived. She also loved her Brittany Spaniels and Golden Retrievers that blessed her life. Proceeded in death by her husband and parents. Memories of Connie will live on in the many hearts of those who knew her, and she will be missed by all, whether family, friends, or strangers. She is survived by two sisters.
