Together, they built a beautiful family and shared 63 wonderful years of marriage before Gus’s passing on November 18, 2019. Connie was a truly creative soul who found immense joy in making crafts, sewing, and, above all else, dedicating her time to her children and grandchildren. Her hands were rarely still, and her heart was always open to those she loved.
Connie’s legacy of love continues through her four sons: Scott, Jeffry (Shawna), Kirk (Kathy), and Mark (Yvette). She leaves behind a long and cherished list of grandchildren whom she loved immensely: Keith (Kristi), Kristen (Zach), Katrina (Alex), Derek (Amanda), Ethan, Bridget (Aaron), Kolleen, Kimberly, Megan (Aaron), Brad (Natalie), Sean, Aaron (Ali), Taylor (Aimee), Josh (Robbyn), and Gregory (Lindsey). She is also survived by her devoted sister, Gail Thompson Sandoval; her brother-in-law, Dudley Gustad.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Clarence; her beloved husband, Orvis; and her great-grandson, Kian Gustad, who was deeply loved during his brief time with the family.
