

Connie was born in Lewiston, Maine to Gaston Corriveau and Louise Fraser on July 31, 1932. She and her family spent most of her early years in Maine where she graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn, Maine. At the age of 25, Connie married Bobbie Thomas and had two children, Lon and Guy.
After living in Maine and California, Connie finally found her home in Grand Junction, Colorado in the early 1970’s. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Connie thoroughly enjoyed sharing time with her family and loved to play Bingo. She also enjoyed movies and popcorn and she always loved reading and doing various craftworks.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her two sons; Guy (Debbie) Thomas and Lon (Teri) Thomas of Grand Junction, CO. One brother; Dennis Belliveau of Phoenix, Arizona. Three grandchildren; Naomi (Jake) Winters, Stephanie Thomas, and Jennifer Thomas. And three great-grandchildren; Kalina Mow, and D.J., and Jon Winters.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, December 3, 2010 at 10a.m. at Martin Mortuary, 550 North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO. Following the service there will be an opportunity to share and celebrate Connie’s memory with one another at an open-door gathering of friends and family at the Guy Thomas’s home; 921 25 road.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice Palliative Care of Western Colorado.
