Cornelia Wiseman November 24, 1930 – May 15, 2011 Cornelia "Corkie" Wiseman passed away on May 15, 2011, the result of COPD. She was 80 years old. Corkie was born on November 24, 1930 in Olathe, CO to Roscoe and Evelyn Austin. She spent her childhood in Montrose and graduated from Montrose High in 1948. She married Eldon "Bud" Wiseman on January 9, 1949 in Montrose. Corkie enjoyed camping and traveling with family and friends, needle point, cross stitch and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her husband, Eldon of Grand Junction; sons, Dan and Randy Wiseman of Grand Junction; daughter, Beverly Myers of Peoria, AZ; brothers, Evertt of Pocatello, UT; David of Ogden, UT; Ada Macnamara of Montrose, CO, and Sheryl Foltz of Fruita, CO; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Private services are planned.
