I regret that I don't know of and didn't get to meet too many of my Grandfather's (Olen Allen) brothers and sisters. Uncle Rocky was on of the few that I did get to meet on quite a few occasions and will always fondly remember him. We always enjoyed his visits and loved to here him jam with Grandpa.

Prayers and thoughts for you. As a child I always can remember Uncle Rocky's lively spirit and laughter.

Rocky was a kind and generous man with a great sense of humor and fun and also with a noticeble dose of common sense about life. We so enjoyed the times together with the two of you and feel strongly we were lucky to get to know you right after moving to this area 6 1/2 years ago.
Rocky: we will miss you very much and cannot believe you would be gone... your smile, your teasing and laughter, your comments and opinions... you were an inspiration... we will remember you always!

Uncle Rock was a lucky man, made more so by Jan Weeks.

Oh Jannie,
You were so good for Rocky, and he loved you for being you. He's in good company and I know a 'really special guy' who will show him the ropes. :-)
You know I'm only a phone call away.

Jan,
We are sorry for your loss, knowing full well there are no words we can say to ease your pain.
Sincerely,

Rocky was my husband John's uncle. We spent many evenings at the Chalice so many years ago listening to Rocky play piano and sing. He was quite an entertainer. As the years passed we lost contact but can still see his big smile.

We had a short opportunity to know Rocky, but knew we were with someone special--so glad for that time together.

It was completely my pleasure to know Rocky. He was a wonderful, talented, big-hearted, well-meaning gentleman. I know he is playing with the "greats" again and is back home with his siblings. You're off to a new adventure, Piano Man, and you will be truly missed. Thanks for being here.
