Survivors include one son, Gaylen Dale of West Haven, Utah; three daughters, Teri Leishman and Judy Pearce, both of Grand Junction, and Jennifer Skiver of Hooper, Utah; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

On October 10, 2016 Dale Miller Leishman passed away peacefully at home. He was born February 25, 1932 in Wellsville Utah. He was the stubborn one, being preceded in death by his parents Earl and Emily “Emma”, two sisters and five brothers. He was a member of the LDS church and held the Melchizedek Priesthood. He served in the USAF and the National Guard, retiring from Hill Air Force Base in 1985.
He leaves behind four children, Teri Leishman, Judy (Jeff) Pearce, Jennifer (Joe) Skiver, and Gaylen (Cindi) Leishman. Nine grandchildren and six great grand children.
He loved to travel, fish, and camp as well as belonging to many organizations and clubs. He retired to his favorite lace, Benson Arizona, after traveling for 28 years.
