Danial Coal Beckner

Danial’s courageous fight with DIPG, an inoperable brain cancer, was over on January 21, 2026. Danial is survived by his mom, Ashtyn Beckner, dad, Airic Beckner, brother Rylonn Beckner, grandparents, Brandi and David Mavretic, Tammie Lamb, Eric Beckner, and great-grandparents, Larry and Mary John. Danial was preceded in death by grandpa Greg Forbes, baby brother Zayden, Kilan Hochstetler and Danial Wheeler, his dad’s best friend whom he was named after.

Danial attended preschool at Little Sprouts in Cedaredge for 2 years and Rim Rock Elementary for Kindergarten to 3rd grade.

Danial loved doing things with his family. Turning wrenches with his dad, paddle boarding with his grandma and mom, skiing with great grandpa, helping grandma at the dinosaur museum, playing with cousins and uncle at mee-maws house, hiking with grandma (Dinosaur Hill was Danial and Rylonn’s favorite hike). He also enjoyed playing video games, going fishing, riding dirt bikes and his quad, and RC cars. He especially loved having his little brother Rylonn by his side.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 31, 2026, at 11 am at Martin’s Mortuary in Grand Junction. Officiated by Paster Jake Wyatt. Please wear hot pink and black as this was Danial’s favorite colors.
