David Lee Brant

David was born on November 23, 1946, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, to Garnet Edison and Loga Martelle. He spent his childhood on Palisade Street in the Orchard Mesa area and graduated from Grand Junction High School. David married his wife, Betty, 59 years ago, at the First Assembly of God Church.

David was a carpenter and served in the military for two years in Korea. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with friends. In 2015, David turned his life back to God and became a member of the Grace Bible Church.

David is survived by his spouse, Betty of Collbran; his two sons, David Jr (Shari) Brant of Palisade, Colorado, and Tim (Tamella) Brant of Clifton, Colorado; three brothers, Philip of Grand Junction, Colorado, John of Thompson Falls, Montana, and Steve of Fort Worth, Texas; and one grandchild, Broderic Brant.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on May 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Grace Bible Church located at 101 Main Street, Collbran, Colorado.
