

Dave Gerrard It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Dave Gerrard, a husband, father, brother, and active member of the Landmark Baptist Church. He left us to be with the Lord on Sunday May 3, 2026, at the age of 67. Dave passed from complications of cancer with his wife by his side. Born on September 2 1958 to Charles Gerrard and June (Kimber) Gerrard. Dave was the youngest of the family with four older siblings. He is proceeded in death by his parents Chuck and June (Kimber) Gerrard, his sister Gail Schnurley and brother in law Chuck Schnurley , also his baby sister Melissa. He is survived by his wife Nadine Gerrard, his daughter Bethanie and husband Brian and four grandchildren Arianna, Riley, Oliver, and Aiden, and step daughter Joslyn Rosbrook, his brothers, Gary (Mary) Gerrard and bGreg (sue) Gerrard. Dave leaves behind many nieces and nephews he loved dearly. He also left a big void at Landmark Baptist Church of which he was a beloved member. As a young child Dave loved more than anything to be included in any activities her older brothers were involved in, with his which usually got him into some trouble. However, over the years he became extremely close with his sister Gail, relationship that he charished deeply. After graduation from Loveland High school in 1976 Dave decided to get out of Loveland and moved out to Las Vegas where his older brother Gary was stationed in the Air Force. During this time Dave took a job doing piece work framing as a union helper. At this time he lived with his brother Gary and wife Mary in their apartment for a few months before setting out in his own. He stayed out in Vegas for an additional year after Gary moved but eventually made his way back to Loveland. Around this time Dave began to work for his brother Greg in construction. In 1984 Dave proudly became a father to his only daughter Bethanie. Within a couple of years he decided to start his own flat work concrete business, and with the help of his mom as his business manager, he started contracting concrete work at a very young age. When the eceomony slowed Dave found a the start of a long, successful career in the oil and gas industry. This eventually moved him to Greeley where he spent many years making a name for himself. In 2005 , his career moved him to Grand Junction, a place he truely loved and called home. After 25 years in the oil and gas industry, Dave landed a role work for Student Transportation Association, a contractor with the School District in Grand Junction, where he was employed up until a couple of months of his passing. While living in Grand Junction, Dave received a tract from some Soul Winners from Landmark Baptist Church, and he decided to attend a service, where he felt right at home, and began serving in the Ministry as a Bus Worker, helping in Children’s Church and other various Ministries. Eventually Dave became the Bus Ministry Director, where faithfully served up until the time of his. ., Dave had an enormous impact and influence the children’s ministry and bus where many young lives were changed. He His love of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ led him to be a passionate “ Soul Winner”in leading to people to the Lord, and the Bus Ministry at Landmark Baptist Church is what he loved to do most. Because of his pride in the Bus Ministry, in addition to the Dave His bus “Chariot of Fire” won bus of the year, 10 years in a row. His most memorable and glorious moments were leading his his own grandsons, and granddaughter to the lord and watching them get baptized. Landmark Baptist Church is where is he met his wife Nadine whom he married in 2019. Nadine stood fiercely by his side and helped him throughout his sickness. Dave loved the outdoors. He enjoyed going for drives with family and friends, camping and fishing, Shooting guns, and spending time with his grandchildren. Dave was also loved his dogs. He had many faithful companions over the years, but His closest bond was with being to Lady his dachshund, who faithfully sat by his side the entirety of his sickness. Dave was always quick to make you laugh and his bigger then life presence will be deeply missed. Dave’s family will be having a celebration of life at Landmark Baptist Church , 1600 Ute Avenue, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, Dave and family would donations to the Bus Ministry at Land Baptist Church so that the Ministry he was most passionate about can continue to flourish for the cause of his beloved Savior.
