Diane Donahue Almand

Our beautiful Mother, grandmother, GG, and friend, received her wings and went home to be with the Lord on September 22nd at the young age of 80. Diane, was born in Toledo Ohio to John and Dorothy Doherty.

She was raised in Winnipeg, Canada and moved to Colorado to raise her three children after seeing the beautiful mountains on a postcard.

Diane thoroughly enjoyed painting, sculpting with clay and getting

together with friends to play games. She had a passion for adventure in her travels,

especially when her grandkids were included.

She met and fell in love with Royce Almand, while on one of her adventures

to Florida. They were married in Grand Junction in 1986.

Survivors include Diane's two sons, Jeff (Barb) Bullock, Kevin Bullock, her

daughter Jodi (Jim) Hines, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Diane dearly loved her family, each of them brought great joy to her life.

Mom, you were such a strong and amazing person. We will never forget

the sacrifices you made for us and the love and care you always

gave us. No matter where we go or what we are doing, your memories will always keep us smiling.

We will love and miss you forever.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 17th at Clifton Christian

Church, 3241 F 1/4 Road Clifton, Colorado, at 1:00 pm.
