

April 17, 1935 - November 25, 2014
Donald Eugene Clay, a retired federal employee with the US Bureau of Reclamation and who also worked with private companies internationally, passed from this life and went home to God on November 25, 20l4 in Berthoud, Colorado with his wife by his side.
Mr. Clay's international work included countries in Southeast Asia, Brazil, Sudan, Somalia, Egypt and Bolivia. When living abroad, Mr. Clay always sought out opportunities to teach others the truths of the Bible. He was a faithful and active member of the Upper Valley Church of Christ in Grand Junction, Colorado.
He married Marilyn Joyce Thacker on Aug. 2, l963 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Their sons include: Daron Eugene Clay of Durango, Colorado, Brec Lee Clay of Berthoud, Colorado, and Beau H. Clay of Wesley Chapel, Florida. They had five grandchildren, Orion, Summer, Lincoln, Taylor and Brody.
Services will take place on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at l:00 p.m. in the afternoon at Mesa Avenue Church of Christ located at 539 28l/2 Road, Grand Junction, Colorado with graveside farewell at Orchard Mesa Cemetery to follow.
