Donald Jerome Davey
September 11, 1953 – December 26, 2025
Donald “Don” Jerome Davey, age 72, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away on December 26, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, adventure, and an enduring love that served as the heartbeat of his family.
Born on September 11, 1953, in Oklahoma, Don was a man who found his greatest peace in the wild beauty of the outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or feeling the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle with the Vietnam Vets MC, he lived with a rugged spirit and a gentle heart. To know him was a gift; his kind blue eyes held a rare sense of acceptance and love for all living creatures.
Above all else, Don was the pillar of his family. His strength and devotion kept his loved ones connected, providing a foundation of support that will be deeply missed but never forgotten. In his later years, his greatest joys included family gatherings, playing golf, raising ducks, and ensuring his loyal dogs, Outlaw and Sugar, were always entertained.
Don is survived by his sister Carolyn (Gary), brother, Steve (Charlene), his children, Robert Davey and Megan White (Davey); and his four grandsons and one granddaughter, who were his absolute pride and joy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Greg Davey (Marsha).
