Douglas Drexel Moore

Douglas D. Moore born on November 18,1950, in Grand Junction, CO., passed away peacefully on 10/13/2026, at HopeWest Hospice Care Center. Doug was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. His love for his family, God and friends showed through daily. He always showed great compassion and love for those around him, and nobody was a stranger to him. His career of fence contracting spanned over 40 years, he used his business (Maranatha Fencing) as an opportunity to witness and minister to people about God and provide for his family. Doug was an avid Harley rider throughout his life. He was always there to lend a hand to someone if they needed help with just about anything. He is survived by his wife Judy, daughter Charlotte, grandchildren Tiarra (Jordan), Alexis (Nick), Brandon (Courtney) and Breonna (Armond), great grandchildren, Lance, Ellen, Raelyn, Brienna and Sydney and many friends that he called family. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, daughter (Rannette) and granddaughter (Kelly). He has touched many lives throughout the Grand Valley and will be dearly missed by all. A celebration of life/Party will be on 11/18/2026 (His birthday) at 1:00PM at Martins Mortuary; a party is what he wanted. Please show up with a story you can share about him. There will be light appetizers throughout the service.
