Edna Flora Finnell

Ms. Finnell was a bank teller.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph of Mesa and Larry of Cameron Park, California; a daughter Joan Hosler of Fort Collins; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Edna Flora Sutter was born to Claude and Flora Sutter on April 8, 1919 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She died September 22, 2014 in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Edna married James Raymond Finnell Jr. on August 2, 1942. They were married 69 years prior to his death in 2012.

In 1949, two servants of God, Lillian Willis and Annie Collins, visited her and her family, sharing the gospel story with her. Her course in life was altered from that point on. She had a deep, abiding faith in God and lived her faith all of her life.

She is survived by her children Larry (MaryAnn) Finnell; Joan (John) Hosler; Joseph (Jeanie) Finnell, grandchildren Micheal Finnell, Steven (Sherene) Finnell, Kevin (Erin) Finnell, John Hosler, Alex Ellison, Daniel (Erin) Finnell, Mark (Laura) Finnell, Chantal (Austin) Myers and 10 great grandchildren, Siena, Mason, Kira, Ashley, Chloe, Aiden, Cole, Owen, Kellen and Isabel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Finnell Jr., son, James R. Finnell III, brothers, Glen, Clark, Herschel, Donald and Claude Jr., sisters, Mona and Ruth.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
