Elizabeth Gunnel Menard, age 93 of Parker, CO, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the Life Care Center of Stonegate in Parker, CO. Elizabeth was born on May 9, 1930 in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, Canada to John Johnson and Frida Sjolund Johnson.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband Fred; her step-son Douglas Menard; her parents; and her siblings, Bertil Johnson, Elsie Bouchard, Sonja Fortney, and Lil Osberg.
Survivors include her sons, Alan Menard and wife Mary of Parker, CO and Martin Menard and wife Holly Adrain of Denver, CO.
A viewing will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, Grand Junction, CO on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 8-9am. A graveside service will follow at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Grand Junction, CO at 10am.
