Ernestine R. Manzanares (Tina), 86, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away on February 4, 2024, surrounded by her children. She was born on June 18, 1937, in Del Norte, Colorado, to Rumaldo and Eleanora Marquez. Tina married the love of her life, Jasper Alonzo Manzanares, on August 4, 1958.
She was a dedicated wife and mother who had no greater pride than raising her 7 children, Mitchell, Anthony, Gene, Mary Ann, Julie, Jason, and Tina. While she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her children, her 22 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren, she had many friends and hobbies. She was known for her luck and never missed a chance to win big at Bingo or in Vegas. She loved cooking for her family, puzzles, games, and laughter. She was loved by so many, and she loved so many. She will be deeply missed.
A Viewing at 5 PM and Rosary at 6 PM will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Rd, Grand Junction CO, on Friday, February 16, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 11 am St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 230 N 3rd St, Grand Junction CO, Saturday, February 17, 2024.
