I wish to correct the birth date of Evelyn.  It is December 24.  She said her birthday was never celebrated separately from Christmas, so I always made sure to send her a birthday card on December 24.  
I worked with Evelyn when she was the Assistant City Clerk then City Clerk of Burbank, California.  It is too bad that more information was not shared in her obit, but maybe she has outlived her relatives. 
I am sorry to hear she has died.  My husband and I would visit Glen and Evelyn whenever we were in their vicinity.  In many ways I felt like I was her daughter although the last few years the communication was mostly one way, via my letters because she  could not understand what.I was saying on the phone.  
She was a strong woman and well respected .  Now her spark has flown upward to be with Glen.  Rest in peace my friend!
