He was a union carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; two sons, Ryan of Grand Junction and Corey of Bayfield; one brother, Vaughn Morris of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two sisters, Wilma Nutter of Albuquerque and Esther Armstrong of Grand Junction; and five grandchildren.
