A visitation will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Monument Ward, 2235 Kingston Road, Grand Junction. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., and military honors and interment will be at 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, Grand Junction.
Mr. Hayes was a supervisor with AT&T Communications.
He is survived by his wife Beverly; two daughters, Lisa Glenn of Amherst, New Hampshire, and Lori Ferguson of Herriman, Utah; a brother Philip Clark Hayes of Grand Junction; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
