Gladys Gast

Born on August 19, 1938, in Warrenton, Missouri, to Arthur and Clara Burns, Gigi married the love of her life, William “Bill” Gast, on July 12, 1956, in Pasadena, California. Together, Bill and Gigi shared 66 wonderful years of marriage and were blessed with two children, Jeff Gast and Lori Gast, who brought them immense joy. Gigi lived a life grounded in her faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Warm and witty, she touched the lives of family and friends with her kindness and humor. She shared her faith in a genuine, down-to-earth way that made others feel welcomed, loved, and uplifted. Throughout her career as a legal secretary, she was known for her dependability, gracious spirit, and care for those around her.

Gigi found joy in golfing, reading, and, above all, spending time with the family she cherished so deeply.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce Ferrara; her son, Jeff Gast (Michelle) her daughter, Lori Gast; seven grandchildren: Joshua Gast (Allegra) Jordan Gast (Karlina) Ryan Gast (Jackie) Cheyne Gast (Amy) Matthew Gast (Jessica) Justin Gavin and Maxwell Blevins. She was richly blessed with 15 great-grandchildren who loved her very much

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Gast, and her parents, Arthur and Clara Burns.

Gigi’s legacy of faith, love, laughter, and humor will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
