A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at at the Callahan-Edfast Mortuary Chapel, with a Rosary starting at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Clifton Christian Church, with interment at 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, Grand Junction.
Mr. Gallegos was a welder.
He is survived by his wife Ruth; a son Solomon of Telluride; a daughter Debbie Montoya of Pagosa Springs; four brothers, Joe, Gene and Jake, and Floyd Harrell, all of Grand Junction; four sisters, Marcella Manis of Templeton, California, Lorraine Cyr of Clarksville, Tennessee, Dorothy Boyd of Arkansas, and Lupe Simmons of Denver; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
