Denver and worked as the switchboard operator for the Denver Urban Renewal Association
until her retirement in 1982. Izetta was a volunteer at Swedish Hospital in Englewood,

the company of her family and friends. She was fun-loving, involved, and caring, always ready
to help anyone who needed her help”. Izetta loved art and poetry and was an excellent cook.
Entertaining family and friends around the dinner table brought her great pleasure. Her faith in
God was strong – many times in recent years she stated “I’m ready to go see Jesus.”
