Best childhood memories are of when you and family came to the valley once a year for fun times and it was never disappointing. You have been a great inspiration of faith and living a Godly life. We always had a blast camping and visiting. You will be missed. I am so grateful I got to see you and Aunt Mattie not that long ago. R.I.P. sweet uncle.

Funeral and Rosary for Jack Emzy Galvez will be held at:
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 
790  26 1/2 Road, Grand Junction, CO 81506
Rosary:  Tuesday, June 22 at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass:  Wednesday, June 23 at 10:00 a.m.
Grand Junction Cemetery at: 2620 Legacy Way following the funeral and then back to the Church for family and friends to gather.

I thank God everyday that he gave you to me as my Father.  You were the best Dad anyone could have asked for.  Both you and Mom gave us our Catholic Faith and lived it.  I thank you Dad for everything and I will miss you dearly but I know you lived a long and good life and that now you are in Heaven with our Lord and Mom will be with you very soon.  It feels that part of me is gone but I know one day we will all be reunited again in Heaven.

Uncle Jack, bigger than life.    A visit from Uncle Jack and family made my Mom, his sister Grace, the happiest.  She was always so thrilled to see her brother. It was always quite the exciting time.   He was no nonsense, strong in his faith, and loved his family.  I always enjoyed our conversations and the way he would call me "sis" or "girl".  He was an icon in our family and I already miss him so much.  Love you Uncle Jack ❤

Grew up  next to Jack and matties home. They were like a 3rd set of grand parents,  Jack was always there for family and friends.  He would do anything and everything that he could for a friend or family. He allowed me to play with his granddaughter's Bernadette and Shelby growing up . He was always there if you needed him. I will miss Jack. But he is up in heaven with his daughter Miriam and his other family members. The world is a darker place now that he has gained his wings.

My dear Uncle Jack....there are no words to truly express the impact of what you  mean to  me.  You always have been such a strong, wise, and interesting man.  You knew what you stood for, and who you were.  Your faith and love of God was inspirational, and served as a example to the rest of us..  I am so thankful that I was lucky enough to be your niece (your favorite niece, 😉).  We will look out for Aunt Mattie, and the girls.
