Jacqueline Dixon, 86, passed away in Grand Junction, CO, on April 5, 2017. She was born in Big Springs, TX, to Jack and Edna Alfreds.

She is survived by her husband, Junior Dixon; sons, John Nelson and Mike Nelson of Grand Junction; daughter, Shelly Forsman of Clifton; sister, Shirley Hadden; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy (Toodles) Burns; and her first husband, Tony Nelson.

Jackie was a wonderful Mom, and was known for never letting anyone go hungry. She never used a cookbook. She was a wonderful caregiver.

The family would like to give a special thanks to The Commons and Hospice for the special care of Jackie.
