You left me on May 4, 2017. Now our friends need to know about you. Most knew you were an Arizona cowboy, born December 25, 1932, in Tucson. You grew up in Chloride hunting, fishing, and being a cowboy. Your life’s work fit you well. It was hard to let you go to Korea, but when you came home we were married, 62 years ago.
Remember attending UNLV and studying while you drove a cab in Las Vegas? You graduated from the University of Nevada with a Wildlife degree. You were a Wildlife Refuge Manager and Federal Game Warden for 28 years. You gave us a great life! You instilled in our kids, Rene’ Pearson (John) and Jim Jr (Paula), a love and respect for wildlife and the outdoors.
You were a wonderful Grandpa. Garrett (Dusty), Leslie, Alex, Ernie (Amanda), Bob, Mitch, and Eric knew you loved them. Then you made room in your heart for the great-grandkids, Maci, Anna, Evelyn, Zoey, and Dylan.
Missing your folks, Delores and Leonard, three brothers and three sisters was so hard. Good news though, your sister Annette will be here to honor you. You loved me, your family, friends, and your Country.
Good ride, cowboy.
I love you,
Penny
