Jim graduated from South High in Denver CO in 1968
Following graduation he served with the Air Force in San Francisco CA and Anchorage Alaska
He drove Trailways bus and then after the merger he drove for Greyhound lines. He retired with 37 years and 30 years of safe driving (no accidents)
He married Doris Straube 1986 with almost 40 years of marriage.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death, Uncle Ralph and Aunt Loren Brown and their children Jerry and Murdean Brown and Uncle Louis and Aunt Lucy Obole
Surviving in addition to his wife Doris are his daughter Crystal and her husband Cody Rayment and his son Tyler. He is also survived by his cousins Teresa and Kyle White and Travis Brown.
Jim started at age 8 playing the French horn with the Junior Police Band in Denver. He played all the way through school and the Air Force. After the Air Force he played in the Community Arts Symphony Band in Denver. He was an accomplished musician. He enjoyed camping, music, aviation and antique cars.
A service will be August 29th at 11:00, Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Viewing is at 10:00, reception following the service. Place of Internment at Veterans Memorial Cemetery October 5 at 3:00.
