She lived most of her life in the Grand Junction area and graduated to heaven on June 16, 2024.
She attended schools in the Grand Junction area and in 1952 married Carl Baker, who was the love of her life. Together they had many great adventures-camping, fishing, and just taking off in their motor home on a whim.
To this union were born Matt 'Danny' Baker and Christina Baker (Steve) Ford. After Carl's death she married Dennis 'Pete' Byrd of Moab, Utah. After Pete's death she married Carl Kirner.
Besides caring for her family she spent a lot of her life as a caregiver at the Colorado Regional Center and as a volunteer at Heirlooms for Hospice as well as taking care of all three of her husbands through life-ending illnesses.
Jane was pre-deceased by her parents, her son, her grandson Andy, and her three husbands. She is survived by her daughter, Chris and her husband Steve , grand-children Tami (Luke) Burr, Brian (Suzanne) Ford, her son's children, Cathy, Laura and Carl, 5 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. Also her sister and best friend Bonnie (Bill) Hofferber, and her brothers Martin (Karen) and Gary (Glenda) Garber.
Services at 10:30 June 24 at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary with burial at Orchard Mesa Cemetery following.
