Jeanne Ellen Cochran, age 96, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Eagle Ridge Acute Care Center. Jeanne was born on April 28, 1927 in Pueblo, CO to Raymond and Myrtle Lees. Jeanne graduated from Centennial High School in Pueblo and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder. She spent her career as a School Librarian in Pueblo and in her retirement, she was an avid Colorado sports fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Myrtle and her son, David Cochran.
Survivors include her sons Kevin Cochran (Jerri) and Doug Cochran; her grandchildren, Jenn Cochran (Scott), Andie Cochran (Zack), and Leah Drummond; her great grandson, Jaxon Cochran.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Mountain View Cemetery in Pueblo, CO.
